   I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and Tucker for creating such a fine piece of work. I ordered the TSS holster over the phone after a lengthy Q&A concerning the specs, and I received the completed product well before the promised delivery date, something unheard of in the custom gunleather market.

   In addition to the quick turnaround, the fit and finish of the holster was nothing short of phenomenal. One of the greatest benefits in having such a finely crafted product was the fact that no break-in whatsoever was required for my pistol to perform properly; my pistol fit perfectly in the TSS and at no time did I encounter any issues drawing or reholstering my weapon.


   As far as performance, durability and reliability goes, the TSS is quite frankly the best holster I have ever owned. This statement should not be taken lightly as I currently own and have owned several holsters manufactured by all of the Tier 1 makers. Having served nearly 10 years as a Force Reconnaissance Marine as well as having conducted protective service details for a number of high visibility government officials (including a former President) and instructing SWAT/SRT personnel in tactical shooting, I am confident in saying that I know what quality, functional gunleather is and is not, and yours is among the very best.


   The TSS is an extremely versatile holster and it is a viable choice for a number of applications, such as undercover and plain clothes professions, protective service details, concealed carry for the general public and competitive shooting. This is due to the holster being held tight enough into the body for concealment and retention yet not so close (as is the case with most IWB holsters) that effective drawing and presentation is hindered. Additionally, the dropped front design at the lip of the mouth of the holster facilitates an incredibly fast presentation to target and due to the thick, rigid construction, there is no concern over any collapsing of the leather at the mouth of the holster or any compromise to the overall integrity of the holster, in general.


   I am very discerning when it comes to the products I use and recommend to my students and peers. I treat tactical shooting very seriously and I firmly believe that an essential part in winning any armed encounter involves the capabilities and quality of the holster as this is the basis from which all tactical and defensive pistol techniques are derived.


   Though I’ve only recently become aware of your company and products, if your TSS is a good representation for all your products, I can say with great confidence that I would stake my life on your gunleather. Given the high level of quality, outstanding customer service and extremely fast turnaround of your product, I consider Tucker & Byrd as the gold standard for custom gunleather manufacturers.
