I purchased a SST Revolver holster for a 4 inch 686 Smith and Wesson. It is the best holster I have owned.

If you desire an OWB holster, I recommend this model from this manufacturer.

It is worth the money, if you intend to carry an L frame or N frame daily.

This holster allows me to carry a large, heavy revolver comfortably, and tight against my body. It is very well made, and a work of art.

It is well worth the money.

Recently received the SST revolver holster,1 1/2" belt and ammo carrier with snaps, natural finish, for 4" Smith 586. Mr. Byrd's expertise and help with configuring the rig was invaluable. A very pleasant man to talk with. Delivery was quick,quality is the best. Very sturdy. Holster rides tight with minimal printing. Perfect retention, requiring no break in. Concealed carry with l-frame revolver is better than I had imagined. I had a concho attached, making the holster stand out from the others. Great barbeque rig, very impressive. I'll be tossing my plastic holster, for my Glock,and replacing it with the Texas Short Stroke or another SST. Thanks to Mr. Byrd and the skilled Craftsmen down in Texas. I couldn't be more pleased.
